Trick or Treat
Friday, October 31st is "SPOOK OUT" drugs day.
Students who have made an A or B in conduct on their report card can dress up for Halloween. Costumes have to be school appropriate.
No Masks
Tennis Shoes only
No face paint
Must be school appropriate
Please send 2 bags of individually wrapped candies for trick or treating.
2nd Grade Program
2nd Grade Students will be preforming at DES on October 31st at 9 am in the School Lunchroom.
PPA will be there to selling t-shirts, car magnets, car tags & popcorn.

Continuous Improvement Plan
Each Montgomery public school develops a Continuous Plan of Improvement (CIP).
Dalraida's 2014-2015 CIP includes goals for the following content areas:
reading, math, and writing.
The CIP is available for review in the media center at DES. It will also be uploaded to the school website.

It's BOX TOPS submission time!
Send your clipped BOX TOPS by Wednesday, October 29th. Please send BOX TOPS in a sealed envelope or ziplock bag with your child's name and homeroom written on it.
Help us reach our $3,500 goal.
Volunteers are needed to cut, sort and bundle BOX TOPS on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday of this week from 8 am to 2 pm in PPA room. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at dalraidappa.volunteer@gmail.com or Shana Mosby at 546-3402.

Monday 27th: Drugs make you "BLUE" wear a blue shirt
Tuesday 28th: We've "HAT" it wear a hat
Wednesday 29th: "SOCK" it to drugs wear crazy socks
Thursday 30th: Put a "STOP" to drugs wear a red shirt

New Picnic Tables
Thank you carpool auction winners, your donations paid for these new picnic tables in the courtyard. The PPA and Coach Crowell have been planning and fundraising in order to clean up the school courtyard for our children and staff to use throughout the year. This is the first of many projects the get the courtyard ready. Be looking for volunteer opportunities to complete this project.

Help needed!
