 PPA Membership has Ended!

We reached:  46% PPA Membership

Pizza Party Winners are:

2.  Cigrang 120%
2.  Walker and Matthews 86%

PPA Membership Deadline

Deadline to turn in PPA Membership Money for Membership Drive is 

Friday, September 26th.  

PPA will continue to collect memberships throughout the year.

REMEMBER:  The top 3 classes with the most membership will receive a Pizza Party.

REMEMBER:  If we reach our goal of 100% membership ($4,000) ALL DES Students will be treated to a popcorn party.

PPA Meeting

DES PPA will hold it's 1st General Membership Meeting on Thursday, September 18th at 5pm in the DES Lunchroom.

There is Reserved Parking for our Carpool Auction Winners in Spots 1-5.  Please do not park in these spots if you are not a Carpool Auction Winner.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

FYI:

• This is NOT a Grade Level Program Night.  
• This is NOT an open forum.  If you have a specific concern or question that you want addressed at this meeting please email the PPA President.
• This meeting will only last 30 minutes, so please arrive on time so that you do not miss anything.
• The PPA will be checking the membership lists at the door.  If you have not paid your PPA dues, you will not be allowed to attend this meeting.  However, we will be collecting membership dues at the door. CASH ONLY
• Bring a calendar, paper and pen.  You will want to make notes of upcoming events and information.

PPA Forms Due Tomorrow

DESPPA Welcome Back Packets and money are to be returned tomorrow by 8 am.  Late forms will not be accepted.

Membership Goal & Incentives

New Membership Goal & Incentives!!!

It's been a great 3 weeks at DES and the students are adjusting well.  As you know the PPA has been holding its annual membership drive.  The money raised during this drive is used to buy equipment and supplies for the school.  However, this years membership numbers are very low (37.16%) and the PPA will not be able to buy supplies or fund the courtyard cleanup.  

Our new goal for the 2014-2015 Membership Drive is to raise $4,000, that is $5 per student.  If we can reach this goal ALL the students at DES will be treated to a Free Popcorn Party.





Also, the top 2 homerooms with the highest percentage of memberships will have a pizza party.
Current Top 3 Homerooms:  
1. Golson (136.36%); 2. Cigrang (102.17%); 3. Hornbuckle (72.73%); 4. Walker (61.36%) 5. Mason (60.87%)

September 18th at 5pm will be the 1st General Membership Meeting for PPA members.  If you have not paid your membership dues, you will not be allowed to attend the meeting.  We will be collecting membership dues at the door prior to the start of the meeting.
